Composter sorted! Planted bamboo, sweet box, honey bush & Schefflera taiwaniana to soften the edges. Just need to face the gabions & add trellis/wires. Garden’s all set for year 2! 🍀😊

Six new Schefflera taiwaniana added to the urban fusion woodland garden! They’ll be fun as shrubs for now, but once they gain some height, we can start clearing the stems to shape them into trees. This is a plant I’ve wanted for a long time as part of the original garden design and plant list!

Got a 1-metre composter from Crocus! It needs leveling, but since it’s a tough arthritis day, I’ll ask the big man to help on a better day. Overall, really pleased—this will be great for future mulch in the woodland fusion garden! 🪴 ♥️

Been breaking down organic matter for compost, and the soil’s come a long way since moving in last year! Fungi are smiling, and I’ve mulched most of the new trees with aged manure—setting them up strong for 2025! 💪 🌿

I made an offering to the birds now that Imbolc has passed, gently taking the dolly apart and scattering it in clumps along the back of the borders. Hopefully, it will help with nest building. 🐦‍⬛ 🪺/|\
