Pretending to be back in college…. Women on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

I had to test the software… It works as promised. gulfof.mapquest.com?name=Trump+e...

6 reasons to loathe Denver International Airport… a bunch of people waiting 6 minutes to get from concourse C to the terminal, and the last train from the airport to the city leaves in 6 minutes. Thanks to Alaska for another late flight.

My little Canadian girl.

Preparing for the work commute…

A week without Facebook and counting… I deleted my account a week ago, and I don’t miss it. At all.

It’s a cloudy night, but I still got a half decent photo.

I saw a flock fly off a few weeks ago… I wasn’t ready with the camera.

My little girl is showing her age. I know she doesn’t have a lot of time left, but I want her to live as long as I do.

A rare sight… snow on the rooftops of houses in Houston.

Facebook’s censorship. My original post was “Right on!” with a link to the article. FB blocked it, so I revised it with “Okay… Facebook is now censoring my posts as I write them. Hate speech is fine by FB, but any other viewpoint is banned.” Also banned. FB deleted. apple.news/AWhAThnxoR4a...

@yanickto.bsky.social I’m here.

Almost time for another ski day.

@susannemreece.bsky.social Found you here. I can’t do FB much longer.

My neighbor on Amtrak keeps staring at me.

I do like Portland’s food truck scene.

Train 2 of 3… this one’s named “Spike.”

Holiday weekend… 1st of 3 trains today. The announcement says “trains are running 5-10 min. late, please accommodate added travel times.” The app and signage is, as usual, completely wrong. In the end, it was only 3 minutes late (because the PTC system was out of service, again).

They kept the promise they made in their 1962 ad.

The nativity train… one passenger car carrying zero people still alive.

I’m intrigued by this different and distinct building, but it has a lot of character. I think it has maybe 14-16 units in total, but it’s just not something we would be allowed to build anymore.

The 3:54am train.

This is painted on the façade of a store next to the door. It made me feel welcome because I felt confident it would keep out the people this message was targeting and give me a safe and comfortable shopping experience.

I found the perfect work of art for the front entry.

How I usually feel, but often it’s just the dogs who are welcome and people aren’t tolerated.

I think the longest way to say this in English is “pedestrian detour.”

Bat racks for bikes.

Real cities have bike parking.

DART faces a huge struggle in the war its cities have waged on it. apple.news/Au-yBZ-ceSWm...
