Also hating on algorithms that have nothing to do with words and everything to do with visuals!

So I downloaded Goodreads and went on a rampage to mark all my books. Now thoroughly shocked at the number on the app. How did I read so many and recall zilch?!?!πŸ˜’

I always find it fascinating that people make niched out niches interesting to read.

The selection of a bride is difficult. She should be pretty, tall, of a specific shade and belong to a caste that everyone can agree on. The availability of such a woman narrows down with age and addition of more variables.

From sharing funny posts to literary ones the journey has been profound... What was an exercise based on pure validation and wanting to seem 'cool' has now become an act of indifference.

Thinking if I need to put all the crazy characters I think of down on paper... Just characters... No stories... Will I ever have a need to revisit them and create their narratives? πŸ€”

6 women, 6 stories.... How's that for a short story.

Can't wait to get my hands on new books at the annual exhibition next week!πŸ˜ƒπŸ₯³

We used to get a ladybird 🐞 for excellent work in primary school. It was the pinnacle of achievement for any student. No silver or gold stars⭐ ... just a beetle stuck on the page. The bigger it was, the better your work was assumed to be. No wonder I watch national geographic.

Libraries, right next to bookstores, in the neighbourhood of publishers are an awesome place on earth!

What do you do after reading a point of view confrontational to yours? A point of view that invokes a stop sign deep within the recesses of your reading voice... What do you do when the pov doesn't confirm... Close the laptop!

To write to not to write, that is becoming the question... πŸ˜ΆπŸ˜‘

No matter how hard you try the stories always have a repeating angle somewhere. It's difficult to find something that doesn't repeat in another book.

Its been a while since I wrote with a pen, much longer since there was a pencil in my hand. I never stopped to think πŸ€” about this small activity... ... until I saw people younger than me just type away. It felt like an art was dyingπŸ˜₯ So I decided to start a notebook πŸ˜€

The commotion in my silent 🧠 is too much. I want to start the new story, get my work life sorted, check the new recipe and get on a new exercise routine... ...all at the same time! πŸ€ͺ😢 That's my wiring fried on a Monday!

Did you feel sad or .....?

Most of my books have bookmarks. Half the time when I return to the bookmark I have to restart the book 😬 Guess I just need to buy more bookmarks. Loads of them.

You need to be determined... to write the next page... to build the next character... to create the next wave. Without determination you are left with a dwindling thought. It may never happen.

Thinking about my next short story... It's about women... woman... series of ladies.... girls... Oh I can't settle on which females to cast!

Hi and welcome to my personal space in the BlueSky. For starters I am a content marketer who has a special place in their heart for stories. So I decided to jot down some short ones. Here I share those experiences.

Still contemplating that story!

How much time do you spend correcting that one word you 'think' is off? The last time it took me 3 hours. What's your highest score?

Everyone on here is a writer.

Short stories shouldn't be time consuming to dish out. They are short, the plot isn't over drawn and everything happens quickly. Exactly the reasons why they sometimes get complicated!
