Whelp, 4 antimalware softwares, a registry clean, file validation, and complete and total uninstall of every browser including Edge using powershell and subsequent reinstallation the malware is still alive and kicking. I'm going to have to do a complete windows reinstall. The boyfriend is PISSED.

Ugh, the boyfriend accidentally downloaded a browser hijacker malware and I've been spending hours trying to clean his computer and I'm ready to lovingly smack him if he keeps acting like I'm the villain for making him reset all his passwords while I'm trying to avoid having to reinstall windows.
