Bringing this back with all of the player housing news I'm excited for. Vaard will finally have his tiny, human-sized home he lives out of. Every doorway has some wear and tear on the top of the beams where he's smacked is head over the years when not paying attention.

One of my favorite Highlander!Vaard pieces from FFXIV. Still have yet to settle on a pale skin tone for this version of him. It's either too yellow or too ashy but eventually I'll figure it out. Drawing that chest piece was a lot of fun though, a lot of fun.

Some Dwarf sketches from across the years. Draenei are my favorite, but my second favorite to play are dwarves. They're so effortless to mog and I like how oversized the mounts are for them, coming from undersized mounts when playing Draenei.

With great sadness I realized on the Hidden Stars set, male Draenei is the only race I can find that is missing the 3D drape on the chest. I was lamenting the lack of drape to a friend and wishing it had one, only to realize on other races it, in fact, has one.. My poor drape-loving heart is broken

I see but I cannot have. It's so unfortunate that these hairstyles exist from a few years ago but they're on the wrong subrace.... There they sit, locked to Lightforged, barred from me ever using a proper horn and side bang or side braid for Vaard. I've been drawing him with this hair for 12 years.

Ever since Legion, Vaard is most commonly mistaken as Lightforged despite his blue eyes, so I did what he would look like as a LF on the right vs classic Vaard. No Forging for him, he can barely sneeze out a spurt of Light now despite still being classified as a Paladin. He's just good at hiding it.

If your character were in the pokemon universe, where would they be? Vaard could happily be a middle tier rock/ground gym leader. The chikorita's more of a pet or companion than a battle partner.
