Was looking forward to going to Boston to my college reunion and seeing old friends. But my spouse is not a US citizen and is a bit worried about travel. That's enough for me to cancel.

Also worth a visit in Paris is the police museum housed inside a police station. Lots of artifacts from famous crimes and yes also actual guillotine blades and models.

Went to Paris for one night so C. could attend a lecture at the College de France. I wandered over to the small but very interesting Museum of the History of Medicine.
