What an incredible list! I loved both Rakesfall and The West Passage, and am excited to open my copy of The City in Glass soon and pick up the others. What a rich selection.

Took advantage of the train today to finish @vajra.me’s “The Saint of Bright Doors”. Totally unexpected, and remarkable on a number of levels. English writing coming out of #SriLanka continues to have a great run.

We need the Butlerian Jihad not because this has the potential to be real (it doesn’t), but because I want to stop hearing about it.

Many congratulations to this year's Ignyte Award nominees!!! As one of last year's winners, I had the great pleasure of contributing to the nomination pool this year, and I'm absolutely delighted for you all.

A proper adaption should be like 90% documentary of the various trippy ocean formations w/a dry voiceover explaining the technical jargon

I want a four-hour Solaris adaptation by a director whose primary interest is oceanography and seafoam forms

Unbound/Boundless owes me $15k+ on a book that in its first royalty reporting cycle had sold around 3k copies of its 5k copy print run of which I have not seen a single penny. They also haven’t even reimbursed me for postage costs I incurred mailing out the arcs in the US at their request
