random thought, for most of my career I've focused mainly on frontend development and in particular not database stuff. Always been scared of databases cause of how fast things can be messed up in them.

Gotta love airlines. I had a flight back home a couple days ago, where I didn't get my actual seat number till about nine minutes before boarding started. The flight was oversold and the airline workers seemed to be scrambling to find volunteers to give up their seat.
