I got distracted out of posting a vacation selfie. It's for the best

Jesus, this TGI Fridays is built like a mead hall

I feel like I'm giving the new Doom harsher than normal criticism because it's the first thing I played after Clair Obscur. I think it Flowers for Algernon'd games for me for a while

Man, Doom the Dark Ages has my mind goblins going to war with my lizard brain. I'm enjoying the combat, but trudging through already cleared areas for secrets really dulls the experience, but I want the upgrades.

Seriously? Again?

I dream of the day Kuro brings Punishing Grey Raven to consoles. I know it won't happen, but I can dream.

Man, party timing in the new Doom is like, baby town frolics compared to Clair Obscur

This whole thing where it's nice out all day while I'm at work, then starts down pouring right before my commute home is starting to get on my nerves.

Omelette du Gommage

We continue

Expedition 33 was something new, so now it's time to return to something old, Tales of Berseria

I did it... I'm fine. Fucked up that it's raining inside

I've been dodging spoilers left and right, so I'm bringing Expedition 33 to an end tonight, and I'll scrape side content after the last fight

Ugh, I need that Esquie plush like yesterday

Maybe it's because I'm currently playing Clair Obscur, and before that I was playing Jedi Survivor, but Doom the Dark Ages just doesn't let you parry enough. At least early in, I could be proven wrong

Me two hours ago: "Hey, I have full faith in all of the forklift operators on our team." The guy covering my lunch just broke a pallet midair, spilling a few thousand nuts down a hill.

Get this man a headband! I will not elaborate

I know that the director of E33's inspirations was Dark Souls, but Miyazaki's inspirations for DS from Berserk really shine through in certain moments. And as I type this I realized there is a certain character aspect BLATANTLY based on Berserk in Act II.

If Esquie is not in the room everyone should be asking "Where's Esquie?"

Char (our cat) performs a ton of catculations, but all he's got is a fisher price abacus

Found a cool moth at work. That's all.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 keeps hitting me with the feeling I've had for a long time. We went past graphics mattering that much last gen, so take that level of fidelity and go ham everywhere else. Make more PS4 games that can make interesting stylistic choices on current hardware.

Deleted that last post, because even trying to be extremely vague about a certain Expedition 33 spoiler doesn't feel vague enough

Esquie my beloved

E33 is creating a really bittersweet feeling. When I got into gaming as a kid I pretty much exclusively played turn based RPGs, but over time they stopped grabbing me. E33 is bringing back that spark, and makes me want to give the ones I fell off of recently another shot, but they might not compare

Kinda messed up that I have to be at work when there's an expedition I should be tending to.

Ok, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is fucking amazing. Wait, what time is it?

This game did everything I wanted and more, completely expanded on the first game to craft an amazing experience.

Post a sequel that really hits. Nioh 2's so good. If any of y'all wanna play some hmu

Just hit credits on Jedi Survivor, and loved any minute. I'm excited to hit new game plus and scrape every corner with a new build as a side game, but I'm more excited to jump into Expedition 33

Alright, now that I'm well over the half way point I can confidently say that I absolutely adore Jedi Survivor. To the point that I'm already excited to do a new game plus and explore different stances. This is rare for me, because I almost never replay or rewatch anything. It's just that good!

On a lighter note, I hit the "was that for luck?" "No, for me" moment in Jedi Survivor. It was a little cheesy, and a little perfect

Celebrating May the 4th with Jedi Survivor. I said I had virtually no notes for Fallen Order, and Survivor has addressed every small issue I had with the first game.

Just finished Jedi: Fallen Order and have virtually no notes. Respawn really shines when they can do single player campaigns, and I wish they were allowed to do more of them. I already have Jedi: Survivor installed, and can't wait to treat the two like one huge game.

Overhead at work today! "Come on, I'm going to show you how this machine runs." "It better not run, cause I'm not fuckin catching it."

I've decided to rewatch Devilman: Crybaby. Because I guess I hate myself or something

I know I'm probably never getting Titanfall 3, but I'm loving Fallen Order, and I hear Survivor is even better, so I can take some solace in that. Jedi directive 1: protect the droid

Jedi Fallen Order is on a long list of games I never finished, and following up Revenge of the Sith with it just feels right. Titanfall 2 is one of my favorite games, and I hope Respawn brought some of its shmovement energy into this one!
