Fun fact: after a transplant, no seafood for a year. So when we hit the 1 year anniversary (6 years ago), we went out for crabs which is my brother’s favorite meal ever. We went with so many of our closest people. Don’t forget to sign up to be an organ donor. www.organdonor.gov/sign-up

Yesterday was maybe … the best Valentine’s Day ever. Eagles parade! Kid 1 called. Kid 2 and I had dinner (that I didn’t cook) and hung out together. MBF sent flowers. VandyBoys on the TV and we got a win; starting the season 1-0.

When we won 7 years ago, we watched together as a family, waiting every day on the news for a liver to be available for my brother. This year, we’re watching scattered all over the northeast, but grateful to say that he’s 7 years post transplant and doing amazing. Grateful every day. #FlyEaglesFly
