Gave birth. Blood all over the floor; the nurses warned each other not to slip in it. Pushed an 8.5lb baby out my cervix. Screamed like no metal ever could. Literally lost an organ I grew specifically for the occasion. And this was a “normal” birth. Beat that, performance art.

I've been on bluesky for a year and a half, and I had been on twitter since 2008 before I quit last November. So speaking as someone who is pretty experienced with both I am much happier here. The moderation tools and general vibe here tend to discourage gratuitous drama and trolling.
