So, the #4Chan hack. The essence of 4Chan has already become a part of general Internet society and past that, society at large. /pol/ in an age of social media may have peaked with 2016's election, and most of the rest were old communities that drifted into comfy retirement. If it dies, it dies.

It's worth noting to people outside of the area that Hackman's wife dying of a hantavirus infection is definitely not unheard of- all it takes is local rodents here in the Southwest doing their thing and the resulting fecal matter drying out, getting in the dust, and being inhaled. (1/2)
