While others hiked baldy or did the wall at the Castle my mate Dane convinced me to try Secret Chute ( right next to Devil's elbow). It is as steep as Perla's and as narrow as Little chute. Hard to see in this pic and does not show how steep it was but worth the effort #alta #skiing #lcc

Two of my mates at Alta. One a former SU 23? 24 pilot who flew in Afghanistan the other an F15 pilot who likely flew everywhere. Is this an example of Alta uniting the world or alternatively the new MAGA air force! (Big hint one of them has a Ukrainian Passport) #alta #skiing #putinsucks

I spoke to a colleague who also knew Elon Musk in the 1990s and who has been working with him lately. The explanation for his change is behavior is that he had a psychotic break caused by a brain tumor. If true this would explain a great deal. #elonmusk #maga #woke

This just might be the dumbest business decision in recent memory. Hardballing the Park City Ski Patrol is fatal to Park Cities brand as a luxurious getaway. Any place that needs to quibble over $2 hour for critical employees is not posh it is discount. How embarassing to be caught skiing there.

Went to Alta today. Discovered a secret. When the conditions are not epic many skiers go to low angle slopes and do what I call "Tai-ski" or Tai-Chi-ski" Slowing down each part of a turn and executing it with precision. Not Tai Chi but better for skiing. Way cool! You heard it here first!

Just had lunch with my former boss and at that time the best skier I ever knew. Scott Briggs was a legend even when I met him. If you read ski or skiing magazine in the 1980s scott was the publisher. Also if you want proof that skiing keeps you young he is 75 and I am jelly!
