Tomorrow is getting to 31°C. I am not releasing Tara in that heat. Looks like Tara's relaunch will be next weekend, hopefully with the newbie. I'd prefer to release them together anyway, tbh. He still needs more tar removal, which I will do on a hot day so he can dry off afterwards.

A job I was in had Zoom workshops about skill development & shit, so I went along to them like a good little corpo. The instructor was like, "Who would you say is a good leader?" Three people in the group went "Elon Musk," & that should have been red flag that it was NOT a good environment.

Also ...this is Tara, six weeks later on. Her feathers have mostly grown back on her legs and chest and she will hopefully be released this weekend. She is... not a fan of captivity. I think she misses her friends. #pigeonsky #rescuepigeons

Poor little bird. There was tar on the *sin and feathers clumped together on the chest. We have done one bath session but I don't want to put him/her under any more stress. Tar birds ALWAYS look "better" than when you actually get up close and see the subtle damage. #rescuepigeons #pigeonsky
