Lovely to be able to get out and explore the garden today. 🌞 This one is clearly going to spend a lot of their youth either in the back of an ambulance or the back of a police car. πŸ˜‚πŸš‘πŸš“

Self-care Sunday. There's still snow on the ground, it's -2Β° and this one wants to run in the river and play football.

I think this has many parallels with the issues we see in teacher retention. Endless waves of roles and tasks, all of which are well-meaning and positive in isolation, but cumulatively end up drowning too many good teachers. #EduSky

Sunday.

Flexible working can be such an emotional rollercoaster when you're two. First the trauma of Mummy having eaten the last Weetabix before she left for work. But the highs of being too quick for Daddy and throwing myself down the massive slide before he could catch me.

January me is laughing tiredly at December leave-it-until-January-as-you-will-be-much-fresher-and-raring-to-go me.

It's amazing who sits next to you on your local steam train. (He told me it's still in the balance as to which list I'm on. πŸ˜ˆπŸ‘ΌπŸΌ)

Uk friends, a kid I know is studying journalism at college and has to do some research as part of an assignment. Could you fill out this thirty second survey and give it a repost to boost it? lm.facebook.com/l.php?u=http...

My least favourite day of the year, Christmas tree shopping day. Why do none of the garden centres sell decent sized trees any more? 😭😭😭

"Why would you want to teach abroad?" "I don't know.... On an unrelated point, here, look at this photo of my old house." #EduSky

Grumpy. Watching a close friend, who is a teacher, wringing themselves inside out with guilt because their young child is ill and they "feel bad" asking for the day off.

Just my social media memories kicking me in the unmentionables. Reminding me that in previous years the Christmas holidays would have started and we would be already enjoying the end of term beach staff BBQ.
