I think I finally realized why I have such a complicated view of the Dawntrail MSQ. It took me forever, because part of me was like "Yeah, I really enjoyed that, despite it's flaws" and it finally clicked earlier. I love everything that supports the MSQ, just not really the entire MSQ itself.

Got around to seeing the War of the Rohirrim movie, and you know, I actually really enjoyed it. It certainly wasn't perfect, but I appreciate that it felt really grounded and didn't take too many liberties. It was pretty fun.

I hadn't really touched Half-Life: Alyx since playing through it twice near launch, but I recently decided to take a look at the workshop for it. The quality and creativity of some of these mods is absolutely insane. Some of them literally just feel like another game in the Alyx engine. Fun stuff
