Legal Update 1/2: Still in legal limbo, we submitted our appeal to the DC Court of Appeals a week+ ago, letting them know we could NOT find counsel due to the time constraints and holidays and asking them to appoint us one. NO response as of today. The DEA hearing is now on hold 3 months, no counsel

The researchers on this study tested a cannabis extract and found that it showed no significant genotoxic effects in any of the tested models.

“Our findings suggest that broadening recreational marijuana access could help address the opioid epidemic,” the report says. “Previous research largely indicates that marijuana (primarily for medical use) can reduce opioid prescriptions, and we find it may also successfully reduce overdose deaths.”

For the fourth consecutive year, researchers worldwide published over 4,000 scientific papers specific to cannabis, its active constituents, and their effects, according to the results of a keyword search of the National Library of Medicine/PubMed.gov website.
