I think I understand Arin Hanson's perspective on Sonic a little more. He enjoys playing the ones that either haven't aged the best or are straight up bad because it's good comedy material to experience the jank or messiness in real time. I have to remind myself he's doing a comedy show.

$40 and only 11GB. This might be another worthwhile Game-Key Card to own, though I'm having a hard time getting over the AI-upscaled backgrounds.

Maybe if they didn't limit their pre-orders to a lottery system, they'd be able to meet said demand.

Yeah, after the Samus in Fortnite debacle, the idea of Nintendo allowing their games on any other platform, let alone PC, feels highly unthinkable.

Really, shilling any company is not the way to go, because there are pros and cons to every company that specializes in entertainment. I love Disney's animated output, but hate many of their business practices, and same can be said about Nintendo. Straight up adulation is unhealthy.

"Hot dogs are gross, but also the perfect food" is a crazily true statement. Have you SEEN how they're made? Whether by a chef or a factory, it's truly disgusting to look at. But you can't go wrong with a darn good chili dog.

For the longest time, I didn't like flossing because it made my gums bleed. Now I know there's a reason for that; because I didn't floss enough. It has since been added to my daily oral hygeine regimen, and bleeding has notably reduced since I started.

Some file sizes shrink, others grow. Nintendo doesn't need to compress the heck out of their games anymore, it seems.

Okay, I take it back. This might be the other Game-Key Card I get. Or, depending on the file size, I'll just get it digitally.

I really need to get back into Dragon Quest XI S, even if it means starting over.

The great thing about the Grand Councilwoman is that she was never a bad person. In fact, the reason she banished Stitch was because he was the bad one. But clearly having seen that he's been rehabilitated, she's willing to exploit a loophole based on Earth's customs and help the out. Girlboss.

Kevin Michael Richardson's portrayal of Gantu is simultaneously iconic and underrated. Like, in the growing era of celebrities taking the major roles in animated films, actual voice actors playing major characters in them doesn't get nearly the credit it deserves. Long live Gantu.

Gotta love Stitch easily convincing Jumba to help him rescue Lilo. They know they messed up badly, and they gotta make things right. Jumba is NOT a bad guy. A deranged scientific mind, but not heartless, not a villain. Eat a dick, Bob Iger.

"You ruined everything." Hoo...how cold she said that. This was clearly the final straw for Lilo.

Street Fighter 6 might be the only Game-Key card I'm willing to get on Switch 2, if only to try out the motion controls and make use of the amiibo figures and cards. Depending on file size, any other third party game coming there, I might actually get on Steam instead.

"I'll remember you, though. I remember everyone who leaves." That hits especially hard, knowing the many layers of that scene starting with the reveal of Lilo and Nani's parents in the photo.

This is the point where Bubbles' mask comes off (literally, symbolized by his sunglasses in this scene); he's not heartless, he's just doing his job. Also, David straight up blaming Stitch for the sisters about to be split up hits really hard, because he's not exactly wrong.

Yeah, I can see why people ship Nani with the lifeguard. What a hottie.

Y'know, I never picked up on this before, but I think the Ugly Duckling book that Stitch reads is loosely based on the Ugly Duckling Short Film that Disney did for Silly Symphonies. The signet's design even kinda resembles the one from the short.

The scenes where Jumba and Pleakley spy on Stitch from outside Lilo's window was very likely added later on in production, because Jumba looks very close to his off-model appearance in the later revision of the home invasion scene.

Lilo getting defensive over Stitch messing with the photo under her pillow is a solid bit of foreshadowing. They even blur the picture to keep us guessing for a while.

I like that the restaurant manager, even though he fired Nani, he doesn't come off as heartless. Like, you can see that he regrets having to let her go, but at the same time, he can't have disturbances in his establishment.

The Golden Bikini is everlasting!

I love that David focuses on the hair part and not the butt part.

Why the left shoe specifically?

I love that Lilo's short enough that she can just walk underneath the folding part of the reception desk. Lifting it is merely a courtesy.

Gotta love background nods to previous films. Hello, Dumbo Plush by Lilo's window.

Lilo's a plus size enthusiast. Respect.

Lilo and Nani truly are relatable siblings. They love each other dearly, but yell at and fight each other, like siblings normally would. Nani encourages Lilo's eccentricities, and while she tries to be authoritative, she knows she's not Lilo's parent. Anna and Elsa ain't got nothing on them.

Friggin' Disney+ with the censored version that replaced the oven Lilo hides in with a shelf covered by a pizza box because test audiences and focus groups are judgmental lightweights.

Bubbles is a REALLY good social worker, picking up on all the red flags and asking all the right questions, and coming down hard on Nani when it's clear she hit striker three. Sadly, that makes him ideally a tertiary antagonist role for a fair portion of the movie, albeit not a bad guy.

I always forget that Ving Rhames is the voice of Cobra Bubbles, and I always forget that he's the spokesperson for Arby's, and I usually never seem to connect the two together. He's such a big name and nostalgic voice that you'd think it would leave a bigger impression in me.

Lilo responding with violence to Mertle calling her crazy for believing Pudge the Fish controls the weather hits different when you understand the deeper meaning behind it revealed later in the movie.

Just found out that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 had a number of Hentai artists design some of the Blades, and honestly, considering some of the designs on these Blades, that makes perfect sense. I am genuinely amazed Nintendo got away with this for a T-rated game.

I think I can wager a few guesses as to which currently rumored games are on the way based on the listings here.

I really do like seeing more classic (well, modern) zones return as racetracks in this game. Makes me wonder just how many they plan on throwing in there (especially with the other Sega IPs later down the road).

Well, that's a hell of a cliffhanger to leave on for this week. Ominous clues that the other half of the Straw Hats might now be okay. Well, until next week, then.

Funny how the way to calm down an enraged Mink is to play to the animal's stereotype (at least based on how Wanda and Carrot did it). Also, Hi, Jenny Yokobori and Tia Ballard!
