super excited to see a photo of the actual book that is the Polish translation of @vicclarke.bsky.social and my @sagepub.com book Thematic Analysis: A Practical Guide! Sadly I have zero words of Polish! @amymaher.bsky.social 🥰 #ThematicAnalysis #Qualitative

Really looking forward to co-presenting with @vicclarke.bsky.social for this conference - attempting our first virtual/IRL hybrid presentation... #QRMH10

I love one of the reasons Braun & Clarke provided (written as a footnote) as to why they use the term "phase" rather than "step" in their six phase approach to doing reflexive thematic analysis: "Steps and stairs are also one of the ways our physical environments are made inaccessible for many"

Participants aged 18+ wanted for survey research on incidental encounters with therapists. You need to have experience of therapy as a client & have encountered your therapist unexpectedly outside of therapy (in person or online - shopping, gym, dating app etc): uwe.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_...

Participants aged 18+ wanted for qualitative research exploring perceptions of body size in therapy - taking part involves completing 2 short stories about a first therapy session. To find out more and take part: uwe.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_...

New open access paper by me & @ginnybraun.bsky.social on reporting guidelines for qualitative research. We centred qualitative research values in creating these guidelines rather than the more typical expert consensus or consolidation/synthesis: www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10....

Two fatigued academics virtual high five each other for having finished the full book planning for revising #SuccessfulQualitativeResearch Unfortunately there’s more planning before @vicclarke.bsky.social & I kick into the detailed revisions.

Working lunch with @vicclarke.bsky.social - plotting and planning

Marking good progress of planning revisions with @vicclarke.bsky.social for #SuccessfulQualitativeResearch with crisps and champagne - I mean why not?

Any #PhD students looking to learn about #ThematicAnalysis- I highly recommend @ginnybraun.bsky.social & Victoria Clarke’s YouTube lectures. The 4 part series about RTA was incredibly helpful- even after reading so much about it, the lectures made it *click*! #PhDChat #ECR #QualitativeResearch
