Happy #StDavidsDay all, this is ‘Daffodil’ by John Bratby (1928 – 1992). Although best known for his ‘kitchen sink’ depictions of everyday domestic objects he also painted landscapes and flowers as seen here. He was not Welsh himself but clearly liked a daffodil! #LivUniCollections

Artist Jim Russell had told his daughter Kath he sold this painting, called 'Having A Look' to a Liverpool gallery but he didn't say which one. A chance visit by friends of Kath led to this lovely reunion last Saturday. Having a Look is currently on display in Seeing Green.
