I have a question for Fakemon artists: Would you say emulating the Pokémon style is really important to creating mons? Or if the design is interesting does it not matter as much? Redrew the fakemon I did last year to get some more practice on my new tablet. Was a fun redraw, went with a better pose for Pumace. Also went more with my own style then trying to do the pokemon style, since if the design is cool I don't think it matters! #fakemon

I got a new tablet for xmas! This one has a screen in it so it was pretty weird trying it out, but I think it might be good for more painterly pieces. I'm not sure if I'll use it all the time yet or still mostly use my monitor since I'm more used to that.
