With Arraez potentially going thru the 7-day concussion protocol, I was thinking that they could put Connor Joe at 1st & bat second. Good plate discipline who could move Tatis along. I'd also like for them to switch catcher to the 8 slot & a faster guy at 9. Now, bring Campy up as a righty DH.

A minimally displaced fracture is a bone break where the bone fragments are still relatively aligned, w Minimal or No separation between the broken ends, often requiring non-surgical treatment. No wonder they couldn't see it on imaging right away. Even Jake said he thought he'd be back right away.

Appears both Crone & Tatis are not going to the IL but who really knows. Tatis said he's not from prior experience with this type of injury and Jake said he 'should be good for Friday'. If those are the cases, WHEW!! Only a few day's time will tell.

I was able to watch a an inning here and there of other games thru the MLB streaming app and I'll tell you straight out - the fans at those places are D-U-L-L compared to us Padres fans. I love our fans. Petco Park is the most electric ballpark because of us. Best fans in baseball, period.

Musgrove to play catch 4/5 after CHI at 60', apparently 15' longer than the norm. The other injured are all pitchers, naturally. Looks like Yu is progressing, Waldron, Brito & Hoeing(!) will be built back up while Reynolds foot is a concern. Depth!

SDSU takes care of business at home and still in the NCAA mix. This was the game Miles Heidi needed, playing with top confidence. All the bigs stepped it up. A meaningful win.
