When it comes to role models for kids-- or adults-- give me someone who's endured trauma, but who is actively working a recovery, who proactively accepts & manages their limitations & vulnerabilities w/ skill & humility, over someone who's effortlessly "mentally healthy" any day.

It's simultaneously true that a majority of Trump's voters voted specifically for just about every horrible thing that's about to happen and that there are millions of Trump voters who didn't vote for any of it. We can't see clearly without holding both of these facts in our minds simultaneously.
