I’m an old white woman who saw how racism and segregation damaged our country. Discrimination based solely on the color of a person’s skin or gender was designed to protect utterly inferior white men from having to compete with POC and women. They’re losers. Always have been. Always will be.

Some American corps are starting to wake up to the danger as well. That’s why we’re getting all those requests to change and strengthen our passwords. Corporations will do anything for tax breaks and the ability to cheat customers and employees,unless the lawsuits from data breeches cost more.

Have you noticed increasing demands to strengthen and reset your passwords? I have, almost but not quite exclusively for sites with which I do business, and which may or may not have credit card information. Reset requests are a fact of modern life. The current avalanche is something new.

This is what research the Musk Admin wants to kill can do. Pancreatic cancer sucks. My dad died of it; got “sick” and started losing weight 1/1957. Went into hospital 7/4. Died 8/9, luckily of an embolism that killed him. There was nothing they could do. Now, maybe, they can.

I appreciate Ms Adam’s comments but the notion that Mayor Adams has ever or will ever prioritize anyone except himself is silly. Remember, Trump’s DOJ has said in print that it reserves the right to re-indict him if he steps one tiny inch out of THEIR line.

Take your victories where you find them. My 74YO hubs LOVES eggs over easy. Nothing I said, did, or showed him made a dent. He watches me don gloves to touch the eggs, and put all utensils immediately in the dishwasher. Tonight he asked me to scramble them from now on. I still don’t know why.
