Sometimes when I am poring over primary sources trying to find evidence of something -- oh, say, the word in Anglo-Saxon for loom weights -- I feel that our current era is so over-documented that future historians will wish we would shut up.

Robert Ripley's "Believe It Or Not" included Charles Schulz's first published drawing on February 22, 1937 (the hunting dog, credited to Schulz using his nickname Sparky). Schulz, then 14, would go on to a cartooning career of some renown.

NY Gov. Kathy Hochul’s response: “We are a nation of laws, not ruled by a king. The MTA has initiated legal proceedings in the Southern District of New York to preserve this critical program. We’ll see you in court.”

if you were accidentally fired while transporting a nuclear warhead and currently need a place to stay with said warhead please know that i have a sizable backyard and an abiding desire to be a nuclear power
