I was excited to try Avowed, then I realized it was an Obsidian game. 100% of the Obsidian games I’ve played have devolved a scripting error about 12 hours in, preventing progress and can’t be fixed by loading older saves. So I guess I’ll never play Avowed.

Watching Deathstalker for the first time. This is one of those movies that would actually look better on VHS. Anything clearer and the cheapness of the sets is obvious, but that interlaced fuzz and lower resolution would have literally smoothed it over.

Seen a few "How Blockbuster Failed" things pop up again. Yes Netflix and on-demand didn't help. But people forget that in 03 a rental was $5-$7 but walmart sold the same DVD for $15, so why rent? And DVD sucked for rentals. Most I rented were scratched & unplayable, so i stopped trying by 03 anyway.
