Some people, including family, think #EliteDangerous is just a ‘Computer Game’ Pfft! Yes, there are ‘computer games’, but then there are ‘alternate second life simulations’ (ASLS?) [might need to work on that] To them I’m ‘Dad’ and ‘husband’ But I’m also Cmdr Virtual Tonto (plus an alt or two)

I was slightly surprised to find our #EliteDangerous Titan, hokey-cokey-Joe, hovering somewhere over the US this morning. I had expected to find coke-break-joe hanging menacingly over a certain office complex at the Cambridge Science Park in Cambridge UK 🤷🏻‍♂️😜

Played #Elite-1984 when I was a kid and dreamed of being a space adventurer when I grew up. Now I get to be a space adventurer in #EliteDangerous I ditched the option to be a grown-up and chose to just be a slightly bigger kid instead. Also ditched a decent head of hair too!

I’ve heard some people describe #EliteDangerous as miles wide and an inch deep. Pfft… No. The depth can be found in the friends you make in the games awesome player community. 10 years in the game and still no less inspired to be ‘paying it forward’ to help new players like others have helped me
