This was my first total solar eclipse and it was shattering. Drove to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu - sat on the riverbank with a local woman whose English was somewhat better than my French- we both gasped when the moon shadow came barreling over the water and balloons were launched from the town.

Both are drastic, dishonestly marketed and destructive “solutions” that were executed in response to real voter concerns. Brexit is doing nothing to solve the UK birth rate decline, lamented in the same column. I predict the same for us as Trump-era policies are hitting young women especially hard.
