In Super Mario 64, Boos have a certain minimum turning radius. If Mario is positioned a precise distance away from a Boo, it will try to go after Mario but never be able to turn tightly enough to actually reach him. The Boo will circle fruitlessly around Mario forever.

Despite Daima's issues? I'd actually still call it a more competent and less disappointing show than Super or GT. I enjoy its character writing. It's beautifully animated, its score is gorgeous (though poorly mixed), and it's got some gorgeous backgrounds. And I haven't felt *rage* at any point!
