I think taking breaks between story beats is a really good way of doing it. IE “ I need a few days to go through this data” Means that the player has some time to kill and side quests don’t feel like a weird tangent from the story

I am really on the fence on shadow of the erdtree being put in the running for GOTY. Whilst I did love it, I don’t want to set the precedent of DLC’s winning GOTY. We need to give room to full games Really sad we didn’t see helldivers 2 on this list Still hoping for a metaphor refantazio win tho 😉
