1) I really wish people would include links and not just screenshots. Why has this become so common. 2) if you are posting screenshots of texts - with no links- without alt text, especially VOLUMINOUS text - why? No one can read that on their phones.

When we explain PEM to doctors, carers etc. they usually get that active exertion (running, walking, showering, reading etc.) can lead to PEM. But often don’t understand passive exertion (being in a chair, noises, someone talking to you, hot temperatures etc.) can lead to PEM.

I'm doing a sort of hate-read of a novel that had so much hype and was a NYT best seller, and has around 52k reviews on Amazon. It's awful. I may go into more details but the errors and the wrong uses of words and the anachronisms ("okay" in a piece of dialogue set in the late 18th century) are -

A) this is patently false. Many infectious diseases can and do kill “healthy” people. B) those who aren’t “healthy” matter too. Statements like this play into the assumption that disabled and vulnerable people are expendable. That only the “strong” deserve to survive. It’s eugenics.
