Just took the most game-changing acting workshop of my career so far. Can not WAIT to dive into my next project!

“Do not let your inability to do everything undermine your ability to do something.” This right here.

These techbros are not allowed to be mad about this.

A little while ago I was in Trader Joe’s and the cashier asked me what I do for a living. When I told him that I’m an audiobook narrator, the guy who was bagging looked up and said, “You’re one of the ones who helps the rest of us get through the day!”

Hey, @ifbookspod.bsky.social I don't know if y'all might be of a mind to unlock an old bonus episode or not but this one has been feeling oddly relevant over the past week or so. podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/t...

Cory Booker is STILL GOING, y’all. More of this energy, please!

Finally watching Heretic and WHY HAS HOLLYWOOD BEEN PUTTING HUGH GRANT IN ROMCOMS ALL THESE YEARS HORROR VILLAIN IS CLEARLY HIS NATURAL STATE

I love prep days. My entire work day today consists of curling up in the overstuffed leather armchair in my office and reading a novel.

Really glad to see this guy sticking around- the party could use WAY more of this energy.

Morning meditations still count with a cat in your lap, right?

This week both the book I’m reading for work and the book I’m reading for fun are set in WWI and I’m not sure how that happened.

I’m suddenly getting error notices every time I click on a NYT article saying I can’t read it because they suspect I’m a bot. I am, to be clear, not, but it does feel rather like my phone coming up with new and creative ways to keep my worst day-ruining impulses in check.

Feeling a strong need to put the news away for a while and work on an embroidery project with a nice bit of comfort viewing. Specifically Fall of the House of Usher. Yeah, pretty clothes and gory rich people deaths sound like just the thing.
