Finished it today. As this was originally a PSP game it really was more on the simple side, but ultimately I liked it quite a bit. Story was more in depth than the other installments I played, while still being quite simple. A simple feel good adventure. #Ys #イース

I just finished episode 3, but Serial Experiments Lain is so freaking good for now. Love the slow scenes, the weird dream-like atmosphere, the soundtrack and the general vibes. Will continue at this glacial pace (probably around 1/2 episodes per week). So I can give myself time to think about it.

I honestly hate review scores. I don't think you can distill art into numbers, stars, whatever. There's no agreed on scale (because it's impossible), everybody maps it differently, and it's utterly meaningless by itself. Just another metric for the data loving tech crowd.

Enough for today. Game is super fun. At the end I've got a bit more of a hang of it as well. 40.6% win rate is more than I expected on a beta weekend, as ranked is quite the roulette. I tried Vox Reaper today which I really like a lot. Maybe I'll try out another character tomorrow.
