For years I thought that “The Deep State” was some shadowy cabal of billionaires and power brokers. That it is just some civil servant trying to make sure Social Security checks go out on time is a bit disappointing.

I was surprised to go into a Barnes and Noble tonight and find they did not have any displays for Black History Month. There were like a dozen tables displays with things for cooking, Valentines, games, puzzles, LEGO, but no BLH. Is this all BN stores, or am I just in too regressive an area?

Hey Starbucks, can you please switch back to cups that do not begin to disintegrate the moment hot liquid touches them? I much prefer my coffee in my stomach than leaked into my cup holder, in my desk, or all over my body when the lid pops up from simply picking the cup up.

Watched “Red One”, and it was not quite what I was expecting. It is basically holiday movie done in the style of an MCU film. It was certainly enjoyable, and I would watch it again next year, but nothing in my top ten is threatened this year.
