Take pleasure in the small things while you still can.

For years I thought that “The Deep State” was some shadowy cabal of billionaires and power brokers. That it is just some civil servant trying to make sure Social Security checks go out on time is a bit disappointing.

I was surprised to go into a Barnes and Noble tonight and find they did not have any displays for Black History Month. There were like a dozen tables displays with things for cooking, Valentines, games, puzzles, LEGO, but no BLH. Is this all BN stores, or am I just in too regressive an area?

“For Decorative Use only” What non-decorative use could I possibly have for a giant fake sand dollar?

A bit of good news: I finally have been able to find a shop that stocks Red Leicester! I have literally been looking for years for a shop that stocks it locally.

Have Philomena Cunk and Alan Partridge ever done a show together? I would like to see that.

Views from the queue. #SacAnime

It’s a new year. Here’s hoping for the best.

Buddy never quite got over the passing of Papa Elf. I miss him too, pal.

You might find some superficial damage to the box, but the chocolate’s perfectly edible.

Hey Starbucks, can you please switch back to cups that do not begin to disintegrate the moment hot liquid touches them? I much prefer my coffee in my stomach than leaked into my cup holder, in my desk, or all over my body when the lid pops up from simply picking the cup up.

I have almost finished watching my top 10 holiday films. X The Nightmare Before Christmas A Christmas Story (waiting for TBS marathon) X National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation The Ref (disc is not easy to get to) X Tokyo Godfathers X Violent Night X Die Hard X Gremlins X Mixed Nuts X Scrooged

Watched “Red One”, and it was not quite what I was expecting. It is basically holiday movie done in the style of an MCU film. It was certainly enjoyable, and I would watch it again next year, but nothing in my top ten is threatened this year.

Don’t come rollin’ up at 10:00, we open at 10:02.

YouTube has started suggesting pre-written responses for me to make when people comment on my videos, and I find them kind of disturbing. There is nothing objectively wrong with the comments, I just find them unsettling.

I don’t get people getting upset about “Die Hard” being a holiday movie while having no issue with “It’s A Wonderful Life” being one.
