The new “your payment problem” Spotify Phishing emails are getting really good. They almost made me think I had a subscription with the company that gave Joe Rogan a massive platform and pays artists the least of major streaming services.

Coolest Subaru I have ever seen

'Bluesky has overtaken its flailing rival X in hosting posts related to new academic research, indicating the platform is fast becoming the go-to place for scholars to share their work.'

I honestly feel really gross using Apple products right now.

I only live 10 miles from a market, and yet I enjoy fooling around in the kitchen so much sometimes I made two loaves just to avoid the drive last night.

Finally, something conservatives and liberals alike can agree on: Elon Musk is an annoying motherfucker who doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

This is pretty messed up!

Chris Krebs is a cyber security hero.

I feel so good. A company did me wrong and I decided to switch all my services contracts to their competitor. Now I get to call them and tell them they’re not getting the $$$$ for the next six months of coverage. As a bonus the competitor reduced my existing home policy by almost 10%. Fuk GEICO.

Last time I visited the National Automotive Museum was pre-pandemic. It was sorta sad. Some of the 1905-1940 cars were out. No real new car exhibits. Now? They really upped their game with some great cars from postwar back on display and a fun Fast N Furious exhibit. Would pay for a shop tour.

I really want to throw the dogs in the truck and go find some pumice or tufa to camp in this weekend. Maybe if I get enough done today and tomorrow I can do a quintessential American thing - drown my sorrows with coffee from my Coleman while freezing and taking pictures in the predawn cold.

DOGE is shutting down one of the best artifacts of the post-911 scramble to spend money with donors - the WMD monitoring program that watches all ports of entry and hot spots and probably other things.

All those young male Gamers for Trump, now finding out that he made gaming consoles and a lot of other electronics much more expensive, and created delays with delivery that have no end in sight.

I make real goddamned good coffee, let me tell you.
