I gotta stop trying to emulate the storytelling of Talkien or C.S. Lewis but slowly and laboriously forge my own storytelling. I don't want to perpetuate this modern day act of emulating for the purpose of direct immitation. My flavor of writing is rough, but it at least flavorful and different.

Do you ever think about how the quality of written and spoken words are have less quality and artistry because the products used to make those things are cheaper than they were in the past and causes writers and speakers to care less about what they make per sheet or line?

Hopped on to Destiny 2 to try out the seasonal Auto Rifle that I had been grinding through Iron banner to pick up. Started up a Vanguard Ops. Strike in progress. 4 min run to the last hallway on Glassway. Take damage for standing still on obj. Glitched enemies under vex milk. Left. Quit.

Perhaps what is more dangerous than religeous zealotry is the ideal behind it: that one can be so convicted in their own values and beliefs that giving up on communication, vitriolic attitudes, and possible violence are justified.
