I write a little bit of devotional poetry. I am a serious devotee of Sri Sri Radha and Krsna, a serious practitioner of Bhakti yoga, and a faithful follower of Radhanath Swami. Beloved. I used to be an art historian and have experience teaching & writing.

Reassurance follows every doubt But we have to listen And sometimes, we have to wait quietly

A dirty fighter NEVER cooperates

A true spiritual path is a perpetual series of endurance tests They are God's way of asking is this what you want, my baby? I peel myself off the pavement again The question stands I'll crawl through excrement I shout Are you that surrendered? He asks Anything for You, I whisper You're all I have

There are blessings and there are blessings that hurt revelation blessings that reveal pieces of myself difficult to accept

"Finding Kesava" Finding Kesava was sweeter than any kitchen, garden, or bird song. It was sweeter than seeing the first Forsythia blooms in Spring or hearing Black-Capped Chickadees singing in the summertime.

These days are so sad. For the last four weeks, I've battled wicked depression. I imagine I'm not alone. I'm staying sane by chanting the maha-mantra every waking moment. Anyone interested in mantra meditation should give it a go. You don't have to be a religious person to feel its power.

"Sugar-Fried Promises" Bright angel voices whisper & collide in the light of day tomato kisses a mint invasion “don’t be afraid,” i hear between light & dark my face burns “bring me your soft dreams,” he says when darkness falls sweet around us “we’ll share every sugar-fried promise.”

The beauty of feeling connected to an ant navigating it's own version of freedom on the table #poetry

No one is a loser Every soul is a beauty Even the blackest heart is reclaimed eventually

Cotton Candy Love I ask myself How is the infinite limited to 25 anything? It's a useless question 1 of 25 Radha is sweet a rare flavor that lasts forever cotton candy twinkling lighting up the darkest night Hold this confection, my darling hold it in your hand & taste it with reverence

"Holy Daddy" Krsna is a wish-denier where the wish is poison dark matter He removes each snare every distraction from abstraction by diversion reclaiming His most beloved angel-babies ASAP in a snap

'... honors the equality of every soul'. These powerful key words, just six of them, are among the most important on Earth. If all humanity honoured all species equally, humans could, for the first time, truly claim to have discovered compassion.

Ancient voices I still hear them eagle in heart I soared caves wise rocks heard sacred philosophy grounded on his wings meditative connection back there in a blink of third eye soul's pull is powerful #poetry

Spirituality and/or religion should be more than a discipline. Both are a source of deep, abiding comfort for many, & an avenue for purification. But, if we truly believe in a loving God, we have faith that our every gorgeous desire will be fulfilled. Radha & Krsna's pleasure is in our happiness.

"Candy Galaxies" Every gorgeous imagining is actual We’re leaving this nightmare with its rusty Tetanus knives I am a glamor-puss in a velvet rodeo with my sugar babe He rides a handsome palomino “Hold tight” his bass voice melts me “We’re touring these whispering candy galaxies forever”

These evil days break my heart a bazillion times a day. I've never known such a dark time. It's a time to go inside & learn about ourselves, to find wonderful new pieces of ourselves. Those of you feeling the weight of these dark days might take comfort in the MahaMantra. Go ahead: give it a try🙏🏻

This is just such an important story. Our non-human companions, with whom we share this world, can do so much for us in so many ways. Humans regard animals as lesser beings, but they all serve a purpose in life and their compassionate interaction should inspire us to treat them as loving equals.

A genuine preacher is above no one. They never think of themselves as doing some great service to humanity. If they're true, they NEVER see themselves as elevated. Krsna is impartial, so a devotee honors the equality of every soul. They respect others while striving for humility in themselves.

Krsna's love is felt in His music When you hear it, precious your heart will break to know love is a truth larger than every universe & space station your whole self ears eyes fingers fingernails even your kneecaps your whole soul will stretch & reach for that most excellent luminous love song

A True preacher embraces everyone in their message of God's love. They sincerely wish to share their precious gift with others. When Krsna devotees rely on an "us vs. them" mentality (& language), they alienate others. If we are inclusive, every soul will feel the transformative power of divine love

"Krsna In My Heart" Sri Krsna was a glorious shimmer, blue-black elegant an electric ripple a soft explosion of clear light He spoke as if He was used to talking to me, as if He knew me I had not fasted or prayed nor wandered the Himalayas I had done nothing to deserve His mercy

"Slow Dancers" I lay flat under these sacred pine trees slow dancers symbols of fertility in soft Spring Forsythia blossoms He makes love to me long liquid pulls delicious sigh

Perfect intimacy is a forever reality. This world might disappoint us, but perfect love exists. We are all fragments of a higher power. Radha & Krsna are two parts of one loving, delicious whole. We, too, were created for pure, perfect pleasure in an eternal spiritual world that knows no suffering.
