The Sandon’s new mural celebrating the league win has been vandalised. I’m not Columbo, but NAP that it was an Evertonian. Don’t start crying if either the Dixie statue or the Kendall, Ball, Harvey statue receives similar treatment. Some absolute retards in this city.

We can’t even *convict* foreign criminals. Nor homegrown ones. Because - and I know ministers like to pretend this isn’t true, but we will keep saying it - the criminal justice system is in absolute meltdown. So maybe address that before making little league tables of which foreign is the baddest.

Our economy is far larger than it was decades ago. Where have most of the gains gone? To the top. Any path forward must include a fight to restructure the economy toward more widely shared prosperity. This isn’t a blue state vs. red state phenomenon. It’s a class phenomenon.
