Have to purge the Generals since the Military is one of, if not the last institution that has not been corrupted. Their integrity along with their oath to the Constitution and policy to refuse illegal orders is an impediment to his ambitions

Patel will be confirmed. They all meet ahead of time to decide who will vote against nominees so they have the bare minimum to confirm while giving some the illusion of independence.

Soo… firing tens or hundreds of thousands of federal workers will have lots of impacts beyond completely disrupting their lives.. Obviously he puts his own people in, reducing costs to push tax cuts for the wealthy.. but it will also drive down labor costs.. wages will drop with extra job seekers
