The Hotcakes are a party band. You’d want them at your wedding kind of party band. Donn’s Depot is hopping along. Love their dance floor and the overall vibe.

Well, Bucks was a bust. The venue is good but does have a concrete floor. The band was playing undanceable church rock. We bailed and opted to head into town and to go to Donn’s Depot.

We’re at Buck’s Backyard in Buda TX this evening to see Cam Allen. First time here! Floor is concrete, so we’ll dance to every other song (but always the Waltzes!)

The Burnets are led by Johnny McGowan. The band plays 50s rockabilly and play it WELL. Highly recommended.
