Looks like a fun collection of Odd Jobs I wouldn't mind doing!

Started playing The Globe by Big Audio Dynamite for my kid as a bathroom hype song, and telling her the guy is saying “Come on and dim the lights (It’s potty time!)”

The Hitman games have been some of my most played the last few years, and I just can’t wait to play IO Interactive’s take on James Bond. 2026 feels so far away

If you're building to learn or have fun, that's great! But if you're building to be profitable, and efficient, you have to solve for 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵. Which means a different sort of “building,” and a lot of activities besides building.

Figma leaving functionality out (like nested conditional interactions) always makes me wonder if they were doing it to keep the design straightforward, due to technical limitations, or resource constraints. Because I’d be a lot happier to have that than a website builder…

It’s been like a hundred years and I’m still not tired of the party parrot

Stripes was originally pitched as Cheech & Chong Join the Army 😮

If I had cash to spare, I’d bid on David Lynch’s piece of the Berlin Wall.

Jimmi Simpson is underrated.

My Dove chocolates keep telling me “Your evolution looks good on you” and that’s just a weird thing to say to somebody

From 1719, exquisite French disco fish. Find the full book www.presentandcorrect.com/blogs/blog/e...

Bleed American is a sometimes album, and in those times, it’s S-tier

I’m in that phase of missing what little social interaction I got on Facebook, Threads, and Instagram. BlueSky is like a ghost town for me

I have an “Ideas” folder in the notes on my phone, and every so often I look through. I just found a note that simply reads “The Steely Van Halen Brothers”

Had a dream last night that I was a touring musician with Radiohead. Thom Yorke was like “Walter, we really want you to weigh in on which songs we play and how we transition between them. What do you think of this reverb?” and I was talking them into adding atmospheric radio static. It was great

I’m working on an “AI Co-pilot” and keep thinking of this. Almost tossed it into tomorrow’s presentation deck but held off

Shout out to the devs at Amazon that named one of their attribute values "Chewbacca" so it shows up in the URL parameters.

Is there a directory somewhere of all the YouTube channels, Skillshare classes, and private courses put out by creative professionals?

www.chicken.pics is good

This seems like pretty big news www.popularmechanics.com/science/a646...

Can't be overstated how fucked up it is that Black folk came up with a word to express people being aware of the oppression of other people and it's now targeted by far right governments globally as something evil that must be destroyed

Nowadays the Config stuff that gets me excited is when they fix broken stuff and improve on old stuff, not introduce new stuff

More like SlowDaddy amirite

I’ve been ghosted by so many people lately and it’s really hard for me to not to take it personally and wonder if it’s something to do with me.

In the Oblivion Remaster, there’s a bug where if you’re level 100 in alchemy and make a fatigue potion with only a pumpkin, all subsequent potions will weigh 5lbs regardless of what ingredients you use. Apparently the workaround is to rename the potion. This is Bethesda QA in a nutshell.

I used to have a friend who said Brett Easton Ellis’s name so quickly that I thought they were talking about someone named Brittany Stenelous

Walter’s Law: stuff that happens regularly will eventually become a law

“We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or we can rejoice because thorn bushes have roses.” ~Abraham Lincoln #quotes

Shaun loves the ALIEN franchise more than anyone I know, and he's an excellent writer. If you love science fiction, horror, and monsters, this should definitely be on your preorder list.

Do you suppose there’s some eccentric writer out there with a trash can that has “Detritus” written on it?

Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, and Pier 1 all sound like places in a noir where people go to make some seedy deals with the mob

We decided to watch “School of Rock” last night because it has “Minecraft Steve in it” (I know…It is what it is) and I decided to google a bit and, yall, the little singer girl just got married to the big security guard boy /in real life/. She’s a OBGYN sonographer and he’s a music industry lawyer.

I’d previously vowed to never buy another Bethesda game on launch day, but an Oblivion remaster coming out while I was sick was not a possibility I factored in!

The Studio is excellent and definitely what you should be watching if you’re a creative professional

It’s really great Simone got to Paris and met that Pierre guy

To make a living I basically I get annoyed at buttons and menus and try to make them less annoying.

I like that some stocks I own are like “Vote at the annual shareholder meeting!” as if I have any clue who should be on the board for a company that makes oat milk.

It’s still funny to me that I can watch Pulp Fiction on the Disney app on my TV.

You know things are totally normal and okay when your bank is sending “We’re here to help” emails about navigating “several days of significant market volatility”

A little confused by Nintendo doing one direct last week and another this week. Why not just consolidate them? Today’s stuff was way more exciting.

Excited to share, I put up my new portfolio. Lots I still want to refine, but it’s a good start.

It’s 4am and here’s what I’m looking at instead of going to sleep like a reasonable person

Dusting off some old portfolio projects, and there are so many annoying speed bumps. Like trying to open a cool thing I designed 5 years ago and learning the software I used isn’t even available anymore, or a feature I implemented having a glaring problem implemented onto it without my sign off. 😡

These are great!

Made a new friend this afternoon

715-999-7483.com, you can call and tell an AI bot what to put on the website. Such a terrific idea.
