Happy 91st Birthday Prime Minister Chrétien. We sure could use your handshake at the binational trade table.

We can never, ever normalize an agenda of Islamic militant jihadi action. Like the steel that helped build Canada, Hamiltonians are strong and resilient. We know that strength comes from unity and that hate and the incitement of violence and chaos seek to weaken community.

+300M ppl are having their periods today “distributing pads in isolation isn’t a silver bullet .. it may be effective when combined w/ education, improved toilet access, pain relievers, destigmatization & convenient disposal … 2/3rds of schools globally don’t have trash cans for used pads.”

We spent millions designing inactivity into cities, making it dangerous to walk, ride & move your body. It has cost us billions, shortened lives & taken lives. You cannot claim to be concerned with affordability if you limit the right to walk/cycle/play across our city. www.pbs.org/newshour/sho...
