it's a long ask, but I was thinking fondly of a Cambridge tutor of mine today and have completely blanked on his name, and I figured there's a chance somebody here might know him. He was a former miner who used the payout to go to university and do a PhD in Eng. Lit, studying Tony Harrison I think.
