I am putting this out there in the Bluesky space despite no following whatsoever. I love writing about football and speaking about football, so am going to start a small blog and a short podcast. The aim is not to have a huge following, but just a body of work. Is this naive and too idealistic?

It’s natural that the Europa League will always go under the radar especially as it’s played after Champions League football. If it wasn’t the case, Lazio would be getting a lot more credit for a campaign that can only be rightly described as superb.

Hi @manuelveth.bsky.social as a fellow football loving Canadian, any inkling on who is getting the next set of Premier League rights in our beautiful country. I miss the days when most of big 5 leagues could be seen on linear. Fubo and DAZN have made the European game disappear from pubs and bars.

I love the story of Atalanta and love it when they get acclaim for their success. My tendency is to support teams like Atalanta over bigger clubs. But there is something about Inzaghi’s Inter that makes me like them just as much as an amazing underdog story. Such a brilliant understated team.

Kind of bummed about Paulo Fonseca’s sacking at Milan. Not saying he was perfect, but the ceilings were really high and I wish the potential shown in those was allowed more time to develop.

Just wanted to give a shout to @adamleventhal.bsky.social & @abipaterson.bsky.social for recent episodes on Guinea and Sudan. Those were tough episodes to listen to, but still very important. Of course I am heartbroken for those affected, but I still think it’s important to be informed.
