And I am an ally. If you are too, let the world know.

In future generations, when your children and grandchildren look back on this moment, they are not going to ask about the price of eggs. They are going to ask you what you did. Not what you felt. Not what you paid. But what you did. And I want to be able to say I did everything I possibly could.

Really encouraged to see all the protests today around the country! I did my part online as I must. For once I wish my view was of City Hall so I could see and hear the energy. I do miss in-person activism and volunteering. Maybe someday. #chronicillness #mecfs #disabilityvisibility

This is what #Democracy looks like!! ⬇️ #50501movement #FiftyFiftyOne #BuildTheResistance #Resist #NoKings

Pacing is the hardest thing I have ever had to learn to do. Resting, taking regular breaks, and not being busy goes against every fiber of my being. I never sat still before becoming ill, but it’s what I have to do to survive. #NEISvoid #chronicillness

What she said

Happy Valentine's Day, especially to anyone who might identify with one of the letters in LGBTQ, particularly the day after someone Trumpy stripped the letter T and then the letter Q from the National Park Service website for Stonewall in New York City.

3.5% folks! We can do this. Next nonviolent protests on Monday the 17th. www.bbc.com/future/artic...

A drawing today. I wanted to feel some space, so I worked from a photo of mountains of Nepal by Sergey Pesterev (Unsplash). Got a little too focused, perhaps not the best use of my spoons. Whoops. Hello darkness my old friend... Life with #mecfs

You have questions. Mostly of the "What Can I Do to Resist This Coup?" variety. Choose Democracy has answers. Here's a really handy guide to the how/what/why of organizing... Share widely. Link here: choosedemocracy.us/what-can-i-do/

This reads like the opening paragraph of a novel so bleakly dystopian you'd put it down after five pages

I think it's worth repeating plainly that a federal judge halted Musk's federal funding freeze nearly two weeks ago but funds are still very much being frozen in violation of the court order.

The courts are not going to stop them. It’s time for another approach, though no prominent leaders have suggested any.

It's been an adjustment for me to re-imagine activism as a recently disabled person (only 4 years!) but I am finding a way; online & telephone activism is accessible to some of us, I'm doing a lil admin work, too. Connecting with folks who haven't given up boosts my spirits. #chronicillness

"I am not an angry girl But it seems like I've got everyone fooled/ Every time I say something they find hard to hear/ They chalk it up to my anger and never to their own fear" -Ani Difranco Somehow coming up for me today. When I am not in a representational mood, this is what often happens

I wonder what kind of complaints the House Oversight Committee is getting on their tip site? People are invited to anonymously report fraud or other abuses. oversight.house.gov/whistle/

"Walls turned sideways are bridges." -Angela Davis Today's sketch turned into a watercolor -- haven't gotten those out in a minute! My view out the window, living with #mecfs #disabilityvisability #chronicillness #millionsmissing

I have sons this age; they went thru this stage thinking they had all the answers & *if* they had the power they could *just* x-y-z and *boom* - all the world's problems solved. 😂 A simplistic, juvenile POV. Terrifying that man-boys lacking impulse control are the unvetted ppl inside the Treasury rn

Elon Musk staff has been caught installing hard drives inside the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the Treasury Department, and the General Services Administration (GSA).

My view today, all day. Too many of us have to stay in darkness and silence for too long. Holding on to that little bit of light. Living with #mecfs #invisibledisability #chronicillness

Black history month starts today and this administration would like us to forget it,

Quick sketch today, that's all I got! View out my window. #mecfs #disabilityvisability

From a journalist friend: Just spreading the word. The CDC is purging data, so people should archive their favorite CDC datasets today, namely ones around race/ethnic diversity, LGBTQ, and reproductive health. Also health data involving climate. The youth risk behavior survey has already gone down.

Today's sketch, and a little Ursula Le Guin from a beautiful short story I finished yesterday. Day 1346 with moderate #MECFS

I'm going to try doing a little drawing or painting a day. I'm inspired by Cezanne to do the same subjects over and over; that's because I am mostly housebound with moderate MECFS. There will be days that it won't be much. This is the houseplant across from my bed. Please join in if you can!

Of the 17 Key Staff and Officers listed on the FAA's site, 6 are vacant, 4 are "acting" and the new acting chief admin was appointed today, after this tragedy. Musk forced out the previous chief administrator. www.faa.gov/about/key_of...

Article quotes this petition www.change.org/p/cochrane-w..., Jonathan Edwards and Cochrane. Hilda Bastian is quoted: “It’s hard to find a word to describe how badly they treated everybody involved in this,” she said. “It’s been pretty appalling behavior.” #MEcfs #CFS
