The last week before the Christmas break is a near write off for the hope of actually achieving much at school. I mean we try, but the students are already at home thinking about what they're going to get. TBH I'm not far behind them. #Education #teacherproblems

Learning what we know is important, but I feel like there is a declining focus on "doing science" in our high school classrooms. As an advocate for science fair and the opportunities for using the scientific method to learn something, I have seen dropping numbers year over year. #scienceeducation

The seriously declining numeracy, literacy, and scientific literacy rates in Saskatchewan should be an embarasment for our government. It has gotten so bad, that Saskatchewan's performance drags down the overall average of Canada. It's time to re-invest in education! #education #science #math
