@chrislhayes.bsky.social If the govt shut down, Trump would instantly take over as dictator—instantly become a complete dictator. Being aware of this is not politics. It’s survival to be able to continue fighting Trump FROM becoming dictator—vs handing him the dictatorship like Hindenburg.
