Line for cinnamon rolls goes around the block at 28th and Hennepin. We are a real country. A proper country.

Watch out for retailers selling deceptively packaged "eggs." If the price is too good to be true, then it probably is.

Legit beef about Stone Arch Bridge & Bridge #9 (U-area) both being closed this summer - as a biker I love them like family - but the 3rd Avenue & 10th Avenue bridges have had bike lanes dramatically upgraded in recent years & while not perfect replacements, do exist.

Infringing on our first amendment right to ridicule: "All of Mpls" has unsubscribed both Josh Martin and myself from receiving their emails.

Hey Northeast friends! Please take this survey so those of us that live here can have the loudest voice about this incredibly dangerous intersection. Do you, like me, avoid walking or biking here? I even tend to avoid it by car.

Great moments in street construction hysteria. Headline: "Road Construction Project Threatening Popular Bar." First words out of reporter's mouth: "that project wouldn't start for a couple of years..." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lu1PwT4kufI&ab_channel=FOX9Minneapolis-St.Paul

Fox 9's Leon Purvis narrating viral videos is the highest form of "Buick trapped in the ice" news coverage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPuTbDs0mm0&ab_channel=FOX9Minneapolis-St.Paul

Can't be good for Trump to have our local Hubbard station KSTP reporting on his cuts of between $100 to 130 million to U of M, alongside the nationwide "devastation" to biomedical research.

Proving the old adage "No ice is ever 100% safe for a 2008 Buick Lucerne."

In MnDOT's defense, selling urban interstates as an environmental benefit is going to require you to make some pretty zany arguments.

Language experts say you don't have to translate your own name into other languages, but ever since I heard the mayor do it, I can't stop saying "Hacobo."

Congratulations if you felt shortchanged by the other cancer map, you're likely getting a nice piece of the cancer pie as well.

Very bold of the mayor's millionaires at "All of Mpls" to use Luana Nelson-Brown as a source for these accusations. The Star Tribune reported earlier this week that she gave a no bid contract to her ex-boyfriend — for a model of service nobody is sure even exists!

More details on the assault/murder at 25th and Lyndale. It was a pre-existing conflict between customers who ran into each other at the Loon smoke shop. Aggressor throws punches at 2 victims, one of whom hits head on concrete & dies days later.

Not enough cancer risk on this section of map. Needs a freeway.

Prepare yourselves for the Gold Line Extension. www.startribune.com/metro-transi...

In case you missed it, here's a great video on the connection between living near an urban interstate and living a shorter, sicker life.

People can't get enough of this map. If the ex wife of a tech billionaire wants to do some philanthropy just buy a bunch of ads that consist of 30 seconds of this map. lims.minneapolismn.gov/Download/RCA...

Business Cliches, the animated series

This was a good conversation and I didn’t know how hard online gambling was pushing. It is a terrible idea, but also I grew up in the most puritanical Minnesota where we didn’t even allow the lottery until I was about 10 (or so?). I am really not a fan of gambling.

Just to give you an idea what Soren Stevenson partisans are trying to get me to talk about. I won't bite.

Council Member Katie Cashman asks MnDOT's Melissa Barnes how they consider cancer and public health risks when rebuilding I-94. Barnes gives the stock answer: "When we slow traffic down, air quality issues increase exponentially."

Minneapolis speed camera pilot to launch later this year at five intersections with a high number of injury crashes (to be determined later). Based on cities with similar camera programs, speeding through intersections should be greatly reduced. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0GSPkw-VRo

Mayoral candidate meet and greets hosted by SWAE Mpls. First one is tonight with Omar Fateh. Emily Koski and DeWayne Davis coming up in March. https://linktr.ee/swaempls
