I went to try to find my own Red-footed Falcon at Woodwalton Fen, then Great Fen, Cambs. While at the latter, I saw a White Stork come down to feed for about 25 mins, before it flew a few hundred metres further NW, then a few mins later, headed high west. I'm gonna count it for my year list..

I had a decent earlyish session at Deeping Lakes LWT east pit, this morning with 3 Avocets and 2 Redshanks (scarce here) when I arrived at 6.30am. Better still, though was a splendid adult Kittiwake which came down for a brief bathe and rest at 8.05am. @lincsbirding.bsky.social #UKBirding

I like Monday eve TV as it is 'quiz night' on BBC2. However, now Only C is finished, there's a gap between Mastermind and Uni Chal, and the BBC have decided to fill said gap with Chess Masters. Sadly, this turns out to be one of the worst thought out programmes I've ever seen; unwatchable shite.
