And it doesn't just affect the US. when this happens it requires the international organization in charge of this matter to rebalance everything worldwide. I'm in the EU and it hits us too, albeit not to the same extent.

I remember the first round of mail system tariffs going to hell around 5 years ago. Had been checking a fave artist's Etsy and how the shipping increased even within a couple weeks to a few months... One of trump's buddies poked the mail system. Can't afford anything from them now, I'm so sad.

Not to mention, even for artists where the negative emotion does cause them to create deep pieces, it's often done in moments of enough energy and calm after a bit of processing took place.
